The Center for Ethics and Human Rights is excited to announce our partnership with Project Suma, a Bolivia based organization that offers hope, support and lasting change to sexually exploited women and their families.
Human Trafficking Research
A highlight of this year was the publication of our research on the trauma proliferation experienced by immigrant women ‘un-homed’ by the illicit massage industry. Our research published in a leading human rights journal, Human Rights Review, highlights how immigrant women are exploited by the industry in the United States, and is a crucial step in speaking up for marginalized communities and populations impacted by commercial sexual and labor exploitation.
2024 Northern Colorado Human Trafficking Symposium
The fourth biennial Northern Colorado Human Trafficking Symposium was our largest and most impactful symposium ever! Along with our amazing partners, the Richardson Foundation, U-COUNT Campaign, Hope Roots and other sponsors, we hosted the symposium virtually on April 11th and 12th, highlighting the theme “Equipping the Global Frontlines.”

Ready or Not: Ethical Issues for Leaders Today and Beyond
Newmont Corporation’s Chief Integrity & Compliance Officer, Scott Sullivan, captivated a diverse audience comprising students, faculty, and industry leaders at Colorado State University’s Behavioral Science Building on November 15th. Addressing an eager crowd in room 131, Sullivan drew upon his extensive experience at the multinational corporation, delving into a spectrum of compliance issues laden with ethical implications.
